hmmm. nice title huh? And a very interesting one too :) well, actually, what my LIFE would be without IT? GOSHHH! i never think of that before. Well, here it is...
IT is the area of managing technology and spans wide variety of areas that include but are not limited to things such as processes, computer softwares, information systems, computer hardwares, programming languages, and data constructs. In short, anything that renders data, information or perceived knowledge in any visual format whatsoever, via any multimedia distribution mechanism, is considered part of the IT domain. IT provides businesses with four sets of core services to help execute the business strategy: business process automation, providing information, connecting with customers, and productivity tools.
IT professionals perform a variety of functions (IT Disciplines/Competencies) that ranges from installing applications to designing complex computer networks and information databases. A few of the duties that IT professionals perform may include data management, networking, engineering computer hardware, database and software design, as well as management and administration of entire systems. Information technology is starting to spread further than the conventional personal computer and network technologies, and more into integrations of other technologies such as the use of cell phones, televisions, automobiles, and more, which is increasing the demand for such jobs.
Basically, IT plays important role in our life. It makes our life easier and all our works can be done much even faster. For example, we can send e-mail in our house instead of writing letter and post it via post office. Just imagine that, to go to the post office, we need to drive ( if the post office is far from our house) by car or motocycles. These will produce pollution as our vehicles produce dangerous contaminant soots. Imagine if 100 cars are there in the post office per day, how many wastes that we have contributed to our beloved Earth? Remember, simple things can lead to major disaster.
Hence, our studies will get effected too without IT. Since IT influences a lot in world modernization, we need to learn it, appreciate it and use it wisely. If there is no IT, maybe i will learn using heavy books again, thousands pages of encylopedia and millions words in the dictonary that i have to flip. As we all can see, even people in 80's can survive without IT, but how many of them? How many of them that succeed in life especialy in studies? I will not be able to study a lot witouht IT since I can gain a lot of extra knowledge as IT provide it tremendously. For example, if I were to do an essay on the planet Saturn, I could look in an electronic encyclopedia in the computer or they could look up their topic on the internet.I could also type my essays and reports on what's called a word-processing program. This program allows me to type anything out from a school essay to business papers. I can make my paper look very neat by adding images and neat looking text to impress my teacher. Now and days, typing out essays and reports are mandatory, especially in High School. Computers help students in any way they need, researching, typing, searching, etc. . . Teachers use computers as well. They use computers to keep track of grades, type out instruction for their students, and to let students use the computer for school purposes.
Let's visualize for a minute. Let's visualize a world without IT and computers. People in the medical field wouldn't have have found a lot of cures to diseases, since most cures were found with the help of computers. Movies like Jurassic Park, Toy Story, A Bug's Life or Godzilla would never have been made without computers because they used computer graphics and animation in them. Pharmacies would have a hard time keeping track with what medications to give to patience. Counting votes would be impossible without computers and most importantly, space exploration wouldn't be possible without the help of computers. It's a pretty tough life without IT and computers. Some may not agree and say, "Well, we don't need computers to live on." They maybe right but mostly, they are wrong. Computers help in curing diseases, make entertainment a lot better, keep track of important records, etc. . .

- you made a video of you singing horrendously, and saw it on tv.
- you sneezed, and your phlegm landed on someone's foot.
- you were talking to your friend next to you while walking, and walked straight into the wall.
- you asked your friend "you're going to X's event tomorrow?", and your friend answered "i'm not invited"
- someone walks in on you when you're talking to yourself/recording a video.
